
Tales from the Past: The History of Croatian Video Games
The Museum of Video Game History is organizing an event and panel discussionWednesday, January 28, 2026, at 6 p.m. in Zagreb's Kaptol Boutique Cinema.
The event, titled "Tales from the Past: The History of Croatian Video Games", is related to the museum exhibition, which for the first time presents this topic in a systematic and chronological manner, accessible to a wide audience.
The program includes:
- a historical overview of the development of Croatian video games;
- a panel discussion of industry veterans and pioneers; a
- lifetime achievement award giveaway ceremony.
The program will feature Damir Muraja, a pioneer of computing and co-author of one of the first Croatian world-famous video games, Janko Mršić-Flogel, a scientist, entrepreneur and creator of video games in the 1980s, Admir Elezović, art director at Croteam, the most famous Croatian gaming studio, and Damir Šlogar, founder of the Museum of Video Game History and author of numerous world-famous games. The program will be moderated by Ante Vrdelja, a veteran of the video game industry with over three decades of experience.
The event is scheduled to last until 7:30 PM, followed by a small reception.
